Biography

Odile Hettler holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Strasbourg (France), a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Basle (Switzerland) and an EMBA from the William E. Simon School University of Rochester (USA).

Odile has more than 25 years of scientific and business experience accumulated in multifunctional and multicultural environments in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in R&D and Marketing.

In 2005, she moved from Basel to the Canton de Vaud in order to follow her husband and family and set up a consulting practice. She has worked for various clients in the Life Science industry.

Odile has been lecturing within the Healthcare module of the EMBA programme at HEC Lausanne since 2015. Within this programme, she also brings her real-life experience as an expert to her work with students on their Individual Strategy Projects. Also at HEC Lausanne, since 2018, she has been lecturing within selected Healthcare modules of Executive Education customised programmes.

Odile is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (“NLP”) Master Practitioner and was trained in mindfulness (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, “MBSR”) at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare and Society, which is part of the University of Medicine in Massachusetts (USA). She also holds a Master degree in Medicine, Meditation and Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg (France). She introduced mindfulness to the EMBA curriculum at HEC Lausanne in 2016, with a view to contributing to the introduction of mindfulness in businesses in Switzerland. She was admitted to the MBSR-Verband Schweiz at the beginning of 2019. Since 2019, she is teaching mindfulness in the Management and Leadership Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) within Executive Education at HEC Lausanne.

In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemia, Odile joined Rend-Fort https://www.rend-fort.com/ where she is volunteering.
